Sec 01 / Effective date

These terms took effect on October 2, 2026

This version of the terms applies from October 2, 2026, and it is the version that governs every visit from that day on. If an older copy is sitting in your browser cache or a printout in a kitchen drawer, this one wins.

A signed estimate is a different document. Whatever terms were printed on your estimate on the day you signed it stay attached to that job, even if this web page changes later.

Sec 02 / Parties

Who you are dealing with

The site is run by Hdroofingandrepairs, trading at hdroofingandrepairs.de as HD Roofing and Repairs. The yard and postal address is 12131 Pecan St, Austin, Texas 78727, Austin, Texas, United States. Phone 512-4586-800, email [email protected].

Yes, the domain ends in .de. The business is in Austin and the work is in Central Texas. The domain ending changes nothing about who you contract with or which law applies; section 12 covers that.

"We" and "us" in these terms means HD Roofing and Repairs. "You" means whoever is reading the site, sending an inquiry or opening the chat.

Sec 03 / Scope

What this site does, and what it doesn't

The site describes the roofing work we do: asphalt shingle roof replacement, standing seam metal roof installation, emergency roof repair, TPO and flat commercial roofing, and storm and hail damage inspection. The detail for each one sits on the services page. How the crew works is on the about page.

It lets you do two things. Send an inquiry through the form on the contact page, or talk to us in the support chat. Both go to a person at the office.

It does not do the following:

  • Sell anything, take a deposit, or store a card. There is no cart and no checkout on hdroofingandrepairs.de.
  • Diagnose your roof. A photo sent through chat helps us decide how urgent a call is. It is not an inspection, and nobody here will quote a full replacement from a picture, a drone shot or the street.
  • Give insurance or legal advice. We photograph damage and write down what we find. Whether a policy pays out is between you and your insurer, and we will not promise an outcome either way.

What happens to the information you type into the form or the chat is set out in the privacy notice. Cookies, ad click identifiers and consent are covered in the cookie statement.

Sec 04 / Inquiry only

An inquiry is not an order, and a figure here is not a quote

Sending the form books nothing and commits you to nothing. Neither does anything said in the chat. Any figure, range or price basis you read on this site, or that someone mentions on the phone before seeing the roof, is an estimate to help you plan. It is not a binding quote and it cannot be accepted as one.

An inquiry turns into a job in four steps, and only in this order:

  1. You send an inquiry or call. We arrange a visit.
  2. We walk the roof, check the decking where we can reach it, look at flashing and count intake and exhaust vents.
  3. We send a written estimate, itemised by layer: tear-off, decking per sheet, underlayment, shingle or panel, flashing, vents, haul-off.
  4. You sign that estimate. That signature, on that document, is the contract. Nothing before it is.

Emergency calls run slightly differently. If water is coming in, we can agree on the phone to put a tarp or temporary patch on, billed as call-out plus materials. That temporary work is agreed on its own. The permanent repair still gets its own written estimate once the roof is dry, and you are free to take that estimate elsewhere.

Sec 05 / Pricing basis

How a roofing job is priced, and what moves the number

All prices are in US dollars (USD). We do not publish a fixed price list, because two houses on the same street can need very different roofs. Each service is priced on a stated basis:

Price basis by service, USD
ServicePriced onUsually moves the price
Roof replacement (asphalt shingle)Per roofing square (100 sq ft), plus decking per sheet replacedNumber of soft OSB sheets found at tear-off, pitch, layers to remove
Standing seam metal roofingPer square by panel profile, gauge and trim countValleys, hips, penetrations, panel length
Emergency roof repairCall-out plus materials for temporary work; permanent repair estimated separatelySize of the opening, time of call, access
Commercial and flat roofingPer square by membrane thickness, insulation and edge detailPenetration count, parapet height, wet insulation found
Storm and hail inspectionBooked as its own visit, with a written reportRoof size and access

The figure that binds is the one on the signed estimate. It can change after signing in one predictable way: decking. You cannot see rotten OSB until the shingles are off. The estimate names a price per sheet, we count every sheet we replace, and the count goes on the invoice. If a hidden condition turns up that the estimate did not cover, such as a cracked rafter, we stop, show you, and put the extra in writing before we touch it.

Material prices from suppliers move. An estimate states how many days it holds. After that we may re-price before you sign.

Sec 06 / Warranty

Workmanship and manufacturer warranties

There are two separate warranties on most roofs, and people mix them up constantly.

Workmanship covers how we installed the roof: nailing pattern, flashing, drip edge, seams, vent detailing. The length and terms of our workmanship cover are written into each signed estimate, job by job. A full tear-off with new underlayment and flashing is a different job from a patch over storm damage, and the cover reflects that. This website does not grant a workmanship warranty on its own. If it is not written on your estimate, it was not promised.

Manufacturer warranties cover the material: the shingle, the metal panel, the TPO membrane. They come from the manufacturer, not from us, and they pass through to you on the manufacturer's own terms, including any registration they require and any exclusions they print. We fit the product to the manufacturer's installation instructions, because a roof fitted any other way can lose that cover. Naming a material brand on this site, for example GAF or Owens Corning shingles, describes what we install. It is not a partnership, and we do not hold ourselves out as a certified installer of any brand.

Neither warranty normally covers:

  • Damage from storms, hail, falling limbs or fire after the job is finished. That is an insurance matter.
  • Work done on the roof by someone else after us, including satellite dishes, solar mounts and new penetrations.
  • Parts of the roof we were not asked to touch. A repair to one slope does not warrant the other three.
  • Temporary emergency tarps and patches. They are there to stop water until a permanent repair, not to last a season.

If something you think is ours fails, call 512-4586-800 or email [email protected] with the address and photos. We come out, look, and tell you in writing whether it falls under the estimate's terms.

Sec 07 / Acceptable use

What you may not do on this site

  • Send an inquiry or chat message in someone else's name, or give an address for a property you have no connection to.
  • Use the form or chat to send advertising, bulk messages, links to malware, or anything abusive towards the person answering.
  • Run scrapers, bots or automated submissions against the form, the chat or any page, or try to fill the form's hidden fields.
  • Probe, scan or try to get into parts of the server that are not linked from the public pages.
  • Load the site so hard it slows down for other people, or try to get around any security control.
  • Copy our pages or photographs to pass yourself off as us or as a roofer who did our work.

Abusive or automated submissions are deleted without reply.

Sec 08 / Ownership

Who owns the text, photographs and logo

The writing on this site, the photographs, the HD Roofing and Repairs name and logo, the page design and the code belong to Hdroofingandrepairs or are used under licence. You can read the pages, print them for your own use and share links to them. You may not republish the text or photographs, use the logo, or present our estimates or spec tables as another contractor's work without our written permission.

Product and material names mentioned on the site belong to their manufacturers. We use them only to say what we install.

Photos you send us of your own roof stay yours. You allow us to use them to assess the job and, if you file a claim, to pass them to you or your insurer. We do not put them on the website without asking.

Sec 09 / Disclaimers

What the site is provided as, and what it doesn't promise

The site is provided as is. We try to keep it accurate and online, but we do not warrant that it will be available without interruption, free of errors, or that every description matches every roof. Material specifications such as 24-gauge panels or 60-mil TPO describe what we commonly fit; the estimate names what your job gets.

General advice on these pages, about hail bruises, intake ventilation or where flat roofs leak, is written for Central Texas roofs in general. It does not replace someone standing on your roof. Do not climb a wet or damaged roof because a web page described what to look for. Call instead.

Response times mentioned anywhere on the site describe how we aim to work. After a big hail storm the phone gets busy, and we triage active leaks first.

Sec 10 / Liability

The limit of our liability for the website

To the extent Texas law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss caused by using this website, by relying on its general content, or by the site being unavailable. Where liability for the website cannot be excluded, it is limited to direct loss you can show was caused by our fault.

Our responsibility for actual roofing work is set by the signed estimate for that job and by the law that applies to it, not by this section. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Sec 11 / Access

When access can be refused or withdrawn

We can block an IP address, close a chat conversation, or stop answering inquiries from someone who breaks section 07, sends abuse to staff, or floods the form. We can also take the site, the chat or the form offline for maintenance or for good, without notice.

Withdrawing website access does not cancel a signed estimate. A job already agreed in writing runs on its own terms.

Sec 12 / Law

Governing law and where disputes are heard

These terms run under the law of Texas, United States. Any dispute about this website or these terms is heard in the courts of Austin, Texas. If you are a consumer and the law where you live gives you rights that cannot be signed away, you keep them.

Most disagreements about a roof get settled faster on the roof than in court. Call us first; we would rather come back out and look.

Sec 13 / Changes

How a change to these terms is announced

When we change these terms we publish the new version on this page and update the "last updated" date at the top and in section 01. A change that affects how warranties or estimates are handled is also noted in the next written estimate we send you. Changes apply from the date shown and do not reach back into estimates already signed.
